The past decades have taught us that involving end-users, like patients and care professionals, is paramount for creating healthcare innovations that have an impact. At RRD, we have always been great advocates of end-user involvement in the creation of modern technology. As a result, we have been leading the functional and technical design, as well as the implementation strategy in many national and European projects. As such, we have mastered the different variants of user-centered design that have sprouted from this movement and can set up a user involvement strategy that is aligned with the type of co-design approach that works best in a context.

More specifically, RRD can lead:

  • Design of service models
  • Design based on the values of (end) users
  • Human-centered design and all its variants: action research, citizen science, and active participation of (end) users
