RRD is an independent company closely related to the Roessingh, Centre of Rehabilitation and the University of Twente. About 40 researchers, technicians and multidisciplinary therapists currently work at RRD. The research institute forms a strong link between knowledge institutions, rehabilitation centres and industry.
The institute has a flat organisation and is led by a managing director who is supported by the management team. The shares are held by the RRD foundation. Rehabilitation technology and eHealth are the most important focus of the research.
