| MIAS Active Assistive Devices Innovation for an aging society |
Active assistive devices have the goal to stimulate elderly to stay physically active and to support their activities of daily living. Loss of function is often compensated by the current assistive devices which may lead to a more passive lifestyle and further loss of function.
The aim of the MIAS AAD project is to develop two assistive devices:
Six degrees of freedom sensor in the wheel, schematic and as implemented in the prototype.
