The European project COVR will contribute to increasing the safety of people and robots who share work spaces in production spaces around Europe.

Collaborative robots – robots that work closely with people – offer new and exciting opportunities, but the collaboration also increasingly places new demands on safety procedures.

Apply for a COVR Award today

Financing of up to 60,000, advice, use of test facilities in laboratories and ongoing assessments through safety and validation processes – these are just some of the things you can get from winning a COVR Award.

At the same time, you contribute to providing a comprehensive, clear framework for the safety approval of collaborative robots when you participate in the project.

If you work with safety and collaborative robotics – whether it be mobile robots, exoskeletons, health robots or completely classic collaborative robot arms – then you can apply to become part of COVR, either alone or in a consortium, by getting an Award.

You can apply for a COVR Award already today or read more about the project here. For more information, visit the COVR website (www.safearoundrobots.com) and/or contact the COVR team at RRD (Leendert Schaake: l.schaake@rrd.nl; Gerdienke Prange: g.prange@rrd.nl; Jule Bessler: j.bessler@RRD.nl)
